Who are we?
We are a small accommodation provider in a country town. The town is not considered a "destination" yet is in a highly marketed Tourism Region. The accommodation has won numerous awards and it is an Australian Accredited Tourism Business. Due to its location and facilities, the target markets are numerous. Several times a year, accommodation is booked out for miles around, due to big events held in the area. The rest of the time it fluctuates with no obvious time that could be called a peak period.
We have travelled a fair amount and in different ways with different experiences. We have taken a guided tour of the south and up the east coast of America then backpacked and bused the west coast and through Canada. We have done a three month camping tour of Europe, hitch hiked Ireland and went by train around parts of England. In Australia we have caravaned, travelled by car, bus, plane and train as well as travelled with horses, dogs and once with a cat. We have climbed to the top of Uluru and dived to the bottom of the Grand Canyon in a helicoptor, gone white water rafting in Canada and tobogganing on Mt Kosciusko, sailed around the Greek Islands and cruised down the Goulburn River, seen the Lipizzaners perform in Austria and the Olympics in Sydney and the list goes on.
Why did we develop this website?
The concept of the website is the result of addressing repeatedly asked questions by guests and people making inquiries about accommodation as well as the things we needed to know when we were planning a trip or during a trip.

What do we hope to achieve?
We hope to deliver a very user friendly website that can make planning a trip easy, lets people know about "What's On" throughout Australia and gives them access to Special Offers. We want to provide a forum for people to share their experiences and a shop where they can buy a fantastic T-Shirt or cap (a walking billboard for towns or businesses), gift baskets of preserves etc from business hundreds of kilometres away or gift certificates for wonderful experiences that they did not know existed and more. We hope that eventually we will be able to provide information about every town in Australia, that can be used for whatever reason a person is travelling.
For businesses, we hope to provide a time saving tool. A business can direct a customer to the website if they need information about various things including directions. And finally, we hope to deliver an inexpensive form of advertising for businesses that delivers results because of the content of the website, its accessability by mobile phone and its supply of Points of Interest for GPS systems.
