The Grampians, Victoria, Australia
The Grampians Tourism Region covers most of Western Victoria and is also known as the Wimmera. It encompasses vast open plains and in the southern part of the region is the 167,000 Hectares of the Grampians National Park which hosts amazing volcanic rock formations and has some of Australia's most significant Aboriginal rock art. With a host of activities available from 4WD adventures, fishing, canoeing, rockclimbing, hiking and walking trails, each of the country towns in the area has its own unique attractions.
